The next menacing stage of coronavirus

The covid-10 pandemic has forced humankind to lock themselves in their houses. Everything is under lockdown whether its schools, colleges, offices, commercial complexes, restaurants, malls, gyms, factories, industries almost everything is shut across the globe except some essential services like hospitals, groceries shops, etc. till I am writing more than 6,73,000 peoples have tested positive and more than 28,000 fatalities. Every country is under the immense effect of corona in some way. As there is no commercial and business is functioning in the world, the great recession amid the covid-19 pandemic is on the threshold. The complete lockdown has led the world into a severe economic slowdown and has affected every life whether rich or poor. As the countries and their government are still struggling to control the rapid transmission of the virus, a question comes across: what is the next terrible stage of coronavirus.

This question is menacing, it is terrible and fearful but is something which we can’t ignore or we can’t turn our faces from. This is a question we must contemplate; our government needs to contemplate as well and then only we would we able to tackle or overcome the situation we might face very soon that is the next terrible and menacing stage of coronavirus. The world has already observed more than 28000 deaths and approx. 700,000 are still infected and the most fearing factor is that this number is increasing with rapid speed. Powerful nations with exceptional medical facilities and scientific research centres have miserably failed in handling this pandemic. Countries like Italy, the United States, United Kingdom, Iran, Germany, Spain, France are struggling with the greatest number of deaths every day and still haven’t found a way to get rid of the situation. These countries are not well developed but are also rich, powerful, financially strong, good infrastructure, well equipped with medical facilities, etc. have gone short of hospitals, doctors, masks, places to bury bodies, protective suits then think about the third world nations or developing countries. What will happen to them if the virus gets out of control there?

With more than 100,000 infected cases the United States heads the list of positive coronaviruses patients, followed by Italy having around a hundred thousand positive cases. Number s are not good for Germany, France, Iran, and the UK either as these countries are struggling with community transmission. the number of cases in India is on the surge as well, on 30th March it has crossed the 1000 mark with 27 registered death. We can only pray for the situation to get better and once again the normalcy will prevail on the planet. The business will get a resume, lives will get on the track but the reality as of now is, everything seems in darkness and it deems like we will have to struggle with it a lot more. I may sound a little pessimistic but that’s how the things are going as of now, we can be optimistic for a while but we also need to do some reality check and comprehend that we need to make serious efforts to take preventive measures to come over this tough time.
