The Indian arm forces have emerged as an angel for all in this period of the global corona crisis. On the one hand, the airforce is continuously engaged in the safe return of Indians stranded abroad by planes, and on the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also engaged in completing the mission Sagar, which has been launched to help friendly countries in difficult circumstances.  In this era of the global corona crisis, the Indian Navy has emerged as an angel for all.   According to the Navy, 202 Indians were brought to Kochi from Maldives with the help of navy warship but on Tuesday and with the help of another warship Kesari, about 600 tonnes of relief and rescue material has been handed over to the Government of Maldives. The second phase of withdrawal of Indian nationals from the Maldives will commence from 15th May. In which 700 people will be brought back to the country through the Jalashwa warship. Earlier on 10th May, 698 Indians have been brought to Kochi from Jalashwa. 202 Indians also include 24 women and 2 children. The help from the online function is providing necessary relief material to the friendly countries facing India’s Kovid-19 under mission Sagar, in which 580 tonnes of food items and medicines were handed over to the government of Maldives through an online function through kesari warship following the social distance rule on May 12. It was attended by Malisland Foreign and Defence Minister Abdullah Shahid, Maria Ahmad Didi. While india’s High Commissioner to Maldives Sanjay Sudhir participated in the event on behalf of India. Mission Sagar is running in collaboration with all other agencies besides the Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Defence. India and Maldives have strong military and strategic ties.
